Mr. Brian Spaans, iQU’s CFO, will assume Simon’s responsibilities from 1st August.
“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Simon over the last 4 years”, said Mr. Anant Bakre, iQU’s Statutory Director. “Simon, Brian and I worked very closely reorganizing the company’s operations during this period and I am extremely pleased that iQU today is on solid organic growth trajectory. Simon was crucial in these efforts and we will all miss his presence. As a good friend, I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. I look forward to continuing to working with Brian on iQU’s next period of evolution.”
In his statement, Simon Usiskin explained, “The decision has been one of the hardest ones I have had to make ever since I left Spil Games in 2008 and decided to start-up and create with Reinout te Brake what is now today iQU. However, I have been offered an opportunity to start-up a new venture outside of the games industry which I did not want to pass on. I am very proud of what the company has achieved over the years and I am leaving behind a wonderfully talented and ambitious team that will continue to propel the company forwards. I have worked very closely over the years with Brian and I have complete faith in his ability to lead the team into its next phase of growth.”
Mr. Simon Usiskin has held various roles over his 9 years with the company including CCO, COO and most recently as Managing Director. He will continue to support the company going forwards in an advisory capacity.
