Haarlem, The Netherlands – November 9, 2018 – Last month, iQU, a digital media agency for games, officially surpassed its goal of acquiring 30 million players. This was done through promoting over a total of 3,000 games by various famous and some lesser-known studios over the years.
However, the process leading up to reaching this milestone began accelerating back in late 2017. It started after the company decided to restructure or expand on some of its existing packages, so that they may present a more complementary overall solution to game marketing, thereby branding themselves the “Player Acquisition Strategists”.
Some changes included:
- A transition from a broader, dialogue-based service proposition to a highly-focused one involving influencer marketing
- The launch of an iQU-owned influencer network – the Gamefluence product
- Boosting iQU’s branding network – World of Gamers
- Increasing the focus on the company’s internal Media Buying efforts
- Among others
Beyond these, iQU has plans to unveil a major new service in the following months, which it believes will further strengthen its intended strategic approach and its updated positioning within the game advertising landscape.
